Step 1

Introductory “FIT” Meeting

The first step in working with our team is a FIT Meeting—a 45-minute session designed to determine if we’re the right fit for each other.
This isn’t just about numbers. It’s about building a connection, gaining clarity, and ensuring alignment for a successful long-term partnership.

In your FIT Meeting, we will:

  • Explain our approach and the process we follow with clients
  • Explore your financial goals and lifestyle vision
  • Review your resources
  • Ensure there’s a strong mutual fit between you and our team

We only move forward when there’s confidence on both sides. No pressure, just a meaningful conversation to see if we're a good FIT working together.

Step 2

Discovery Meeting

The DISCOVERY meeting is the next step in our relationship—where we begin laying the groundwork for your personalized financial plan.

In this meeting, we will:

  • Collect your account statements, estate documents, and insurance policies
  • Dive deeper into your financial goals and personal priorities
  • Gather any remaining information needed to build a complete picture of your financial life
  • Set clear expectations for the planning process moving forward

This meeting sets the foundation for a tailored plan DESIGNED around what matters most to you.

Step 3

DEPLOY Meeting

This is where your financial plan begins to take shape—and where much of our new client experience takes place.

During this phase, we will:

  • Review your financial plan DESIGNED specifically for you
  • Establish your new accounts, ensure proper titling and beneficiary designations
  • Review your risk score and agreed upon investment strategies
  • Discuss protection strategies and identify tax-saving opportunities
  • Make additional recommendations around investments, tax strategies, estate planning, and insurance needs

This is where your plan comes to life—moving from strategy to DEPLOYING action with confidence and clarity.

Step 4

Welcome Aboard

In the first 30 days, we’ll check in to gather your feedback and ensure you're feeling confident about where we are in the process.

This is more than a follow-up—it’s another opportunity for us to get to know you better and make sure our services align with your expectations.

We encourage open communication, so please don’t hesitate to ask questions, share concerns, or let us know how we can better support you.

Your experience matters. Let’s make sure we’re on the right path—together.

Step 5

First Review

60–90 days into our relationship, we’ll schedule your First Review Meeting—a key milestone in your financial journey.

In this meeting, we will:

  • Catch up on any personal or professional changes since our last conversation
  • Review your goals and your financial plan
  • Confirm your risk tolerance
  • Discuss current economic conditions and how they may impact your strategy
  • Complete any remaining operational items (e.g., Account View access, outstanding documents)

This is an important opportunity to check in, make adjustments if needed, and ensure everything is on track.

Your life evolves—your plan should too.

Step 6

Review Meetings

As our relationship continues, we’ll meet regularly for Strategic and Tactical Meetings—a vital part of keeping your financial life organized, proactive, and aligned with your goals.

In these meetings, we will:

  • Stay connected around your family dynamics, career, lifestyle, and financial situation
  • Confirm that the plan and strategies we’ve deployed remain relevant as your life evolves
  • Review your accounts, confirm your risk score, and discuss any proactive adjustments we've made
  • Ensure you're familiar with our team and know how to fully leverage our office for your service needs

Using our proprietary process, the SWM FORMula, we keep your financial plan clear, simplified, and always moving in the right direction.

Your life isn’t static—your financial plan shouldn’t be either.
